A Virginia car accident Wednesday morning took the life of a local firefighter and injured another man, according to the News for TriCities.
The firefighter was driving down the Interstate when he was hit head on by a car driving down the wrong side of the road. He died at the scene of the Virginia auto accident.
The driver of the other vehicle was injured in the Virginia car accident.
Authorities are unsure of his condition, but noted that he was driving without a license.

The News and Advance reported that a recent Virginia car accident sent a teenager to the hospital with various injuries.
The teen was trying to navigate a curve when she lost control of her car, causing the Virginia auto accident. It spun around, went off the side of the road, and hit a nearby pole.
Rescue crews had to cut the teen out of her vehicle.
Authorities believe that the driver was speeding before the Virginia car accident, but they are still investigating the cause.

A recent Virginia truck accident involving a tractor-trailer carrying hazardous materials forced authorities to shut down part of the road, according to the News for TriCities.
The truck was headed down the highway when the driver lost control, drove across the median, and landed in the opposite lane, causing the tank to leak its contents onto the roadway.
Authorities evacuated six homes near the Virginia truck accident.
Some of the firefighters and police officers that responded to the Virginia auto accident have already checked out of a local hospital.

The Danville Register Bee reported that a Virginia car accident over the weekend left one lane of the road closed and two people injured.
The Virginia auto accident occurred when a car drove off the side of the highway and down an embankment.
There were six occupants in the car at the time of the Virginia car accident, five children and one adult.
Of those six people, two were taken back up the embankment on stretchers and to a local hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the Virginia auto accident.
